Strategic Climate Alliance of the Nordic-Baltic Regions in Türkiye
The Nordic-Baltic Climate Technology Platform (NBCC) is a joint diplomatic initiative established by the missions of Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden in Türkiye. Driven by the urgent need for climate action and green transformation, this unique alliance pools the collective resources, technical expertise, and pioneering spirit of five nations. Operating as a collaborative diplomatic network, the platform serves as an institutional bridge fostering cross-regional climate dialogue and technology transfer.
The Road to COP31: Driving Tangible Climate Outcomes
With Türkiye's pivotal role as the host of COP31 in 2026, the platform acts as a dedicated technical and diplomatic catalyst for the summit’s preparations. Through policy alignment workshops and high-level flagship forums, we channel Nordic-Baltic regional leadership directly into the COP31 agenda. Our goal is to translate climate commitments into concrete outputs, fostering joint project pipelines that extend well toward 2030.
Engineering Resilient Futures Through Nordic-Baltic Simplicity
Our vision is to accelerate the transition toward net-zero, resilient, and sustainable urban environments by deploying cutting-edge Nordic-Baltic climate solutions. Guided by the core principles of reliability, innovation, and international solidarity, we aim to transform current environmental challenges into cooperative market opportunities. We envision a future where cities thrive in harmony with nature, powered by clean energy, circular design, and robust climate infrastructure.
Bridging Expertise for Green and Resilient Cities
Türkiye stands at a critical geographical and strategic crossroads in the global green transition. The platform connects Turkish public institutions, municipalities, industries, and academia with leading Nordic-Baltic solution providers. By focusing on energy efficiency, district energy, water resilience, and circular eco-design, we facilitate high-level workshops, financial forums, and multilateral consortiums to co-create sustainable urban ecosystems across Türkiye.
